The whole frame was stripped down to constituant parts and cleaned, then reassembled using stainless steel nuts and bolts.

The missing front support structure was recreated using aluminium extrusion and new side cheeks were manufactured.

The motherboard PCBs needed quite a lot of work. All wiring had been connected as through hole wiring. To make this more convenient I installed solder pins at all wiring connection points. There was also some damage to the routing switch motherboards which needed repair.

The rear panel has had all connectors replaced. The XLRs are the opposite gender than the current standard. This was common in the 1960s and would nicely match a Studer A80 Mk1.
